SCHOOL TEACHER, COMMUNITY LEADER,
PROUD VIRGINIAN

Wendy believes in a Virginia where every resident can live a dignified and prosperous life. As a former State Delegate and community leader and informed by her personal experiences, Wendy understands and sympathizes with the challenges Virginia families face today.

Wendy is an action taker. As a Virginia Delegate, she passed legislation expanding access to healthcare, supporting our farmers, increasing affordability, promoting gun safety, protecting our children, and investing in education. Beyond her legislative accomplishments, she’s worked with her community in the Valley on projects like building homes working families can afford. Wendy is a proven champion for Virginia families and knows that we deserve better.

Why I'm running

It’s not just policy.

For Wendy, it’s personal.

It’s not just policy. It’s not just policy.
Why I'm running

It’s not just policy.

For Wendy, it’s personal.

Virginians deserve affordability in the Commonwealth they call home.

I’m running for Congress because I’ve had enough, and I know you have too. With the price of essentials on the rise and chaos in Washington as our elected leaders ignore the needs of working families, Virginia needs a leader in Congress who will work towards a dignified life for all of us, because everyone deserves a home they can afford. I collaborated with my community to build homes families can afford, I fought to bring prices down as State Delegate and will bring my work to Washington to advocate for affordability in the commonwealth we call home so you can do more with your money.

Supporting Our Farmers and Agriculture.

I spent my whole life surrounded by people who make Virginia’s agricultural industry thrive. We must remember how important agriculture is to Virginia’s economy and just how hard our farmers work to put food on our tables and provide us with the essentials. As a State Delegate, I championed efforts to expand our agricultural industry and advocated for the family farms so vital to Virginia. We must always remember that farmers put the food on our tables, and they deserve our respect and support.

Expanding Access to Affordable Healthcare.

Access to affordable healthcare isn’t just a necessity – Virginians also deserve access to quality care. After struggling to receive the healthcare coverage he needed in Virginia, I lost my brother Brian to his battle with mental health. That’s why I ran for office and worked across the aisle to expand Medicaid in Virginia, providing access to affordable healthcare to thousands of Virginians. As the current administration is undoing all of those efforts, I will continue to strive to fix the system that failed my brother and work hard against those who deny your access to care.

Advocating for High Quality Education for Every Student.

Our communities are only as strong as our schools. As a former school teacher, I know that providing our students with high-quality education starts with safety within our schools and retaining and recruiting the best teachers by paying them fairly. That’s why I introduced and passed bills as a State Delegate that put us on the path to making our schools the best they can be, and I will champion efforts in Washington to continue to treat our educators and students with the respect they deserve.
